Awesome! It would be nice if we could test against that bug fix. The matrix is pretty large; could it somehow be a doctest anyway? Perhaps: Adding that matrix to the pickle jar, then loading it in the test section of the documentation of "kernel()", and then testing that the kernel is correctly computed?
