This is pretty easy to just hack.  At least, I was able to do it,
which means it must have been pretty easy.  Anyway, I put it in their
issue list a while back.

The developers are very open to improvements.  Maybe you should add
(well explained) issues like these to

so they are in an easy-to-find place.  The \$ one is a problem, you
are right, and I don't know why I hadn't noticed it before.
