Three Questions: 1) Is dirac_delta often used outside of signal processing? 2) Besides sympy, where else should I look for methods it should interface with? 3) Is there a more common name for the integral of the form * \in**t( f(x) * dα(x) )*, where one of f(x), dα(x) is continuous, the other monotonic?
