This fails with syntax error, but works if Nf.<v> is on new line:
K.<Z>=ZZ[]
for D in [ 1 .. 20]:
try: Nf.<v>=NumberField(Z**2-D)
except Exception,e:
print e
Basically |try: stuff()| appears to work.
