Dear list, Among the numerous methods defined for numbers and expressions (SR), there is abs(), which returns the modulus of a complex value. There is also the arg() function, which returns its argument. and a lot of other ways to access it (such as maxima.carg()).
But there is no arg() method. I wonder why, and I tend to suppose that this is *NOT* an oversight. But I can't fathom the reason.
