Hi Paul,
design discussions like this should not be done in trac since the number
of people actually getting emails from this is minuscule compared to the
audience on sage-devel. So please send an email with a summary what is
proposed and what has been discussed so far to sage-devel. Also mention
the ticket and that there are some more details there.
