     Type:  defect            |       Status:  new
 Priority:  major             |    Milestone:  sage-3.4
Component:  basic arithmetic  |   Resolution:
 Keywords:                    |

Comment (by malb):

 At least these two doctests fail.

 {{{
 sage -t
 "devel/sage/sage/schemes/hyperelliptic_curves/hyperelliptic_padic_field.py"
 sage -t  "devel/sage/sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/ell_number_field.py"
 }}}

 I would greatly appreciate input/pointers where to look for the bug. Once
 I figured out which of the functions I've touched returns wrong/unexpected
 answers, I can fix it. However, as of now, I don't know which one it is.
