I've uploaded a package at
[http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/kcrisman/atlas-3.10.0.spkg] for
Volker to look at. Hopefully this will solve this last minor problem. It
didn't cause trouble on my other machine because it is Intel, which
doesn't use this branch of the code! But it would have broken Dima's 10.5
PPC machine.
