corruption, so I'm pretty sure it's a genuine bug in ATLAS.
I'd look for an error caused by the fact that arando has a 64-bit capable
CPU, but runs a 32-bit kernel.
If it's about the path lengths then it should be possible to do a
standalone install of Sage on arando in /tmp, say, and see whether the new
Atlas works.
