 Yes, Jean-Pierre, I agree that ''if'' it is possible that start with a
 strong polynomial cache, and postpone the proper fix at #13447, because
 for now it isn't ready.

 But perhaps the reviewers can cross-verify that #715 (including a
 ''strong'' cache for polynomial rings) plus #11521 is indeed fine without
 #13447? Do the tests all pass?
