Hmm..interesting. Also good to know about the dictionary pickling. I
cannot disagree at all with your rant; I use the patchbot to get my 64-bit
hash values >_<. So would you agree to hash tests of the form:

sage: hash(phi) == hash(phi)
True
}}}
?
