#5565: sage crashes because of too small stacksize

Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone: sage-3.4.1
Component: misc | Keywords:

it seems a stacksize of 10M is not enough to run Sage, at least under
Fedora 10 (I typed <tab> after Poly):
{{{
patate% limit stacksize 10m
patate% sage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
| Sage Version 3.4, Release Date: 2009-03-11 |
| Type notebook() for the GUI, and license() for information. |

sage: Poly
------------------------------------------------------------
Unhandled SIGSEGV: A segmentation fault occured in SAGE.
This probably occured because a *compiled* component
of SAGE has a bug in it (typically accessing invalid memory)
or is not properly wrapped with _sig_on, _sig_off.
You might want to run SAGE under gdb with 'sage -gdb' to debug this.
SAGE will now terminate (sorry).
------------------------------------------------------------
/usr/local/sage-3.4-core2/sage/local/bin/sage-sage: line 197: 816
Segmentation fault sage-ipython "$@" -i
}}}
In addition there is a typo in the above error message, where
"occured" should be "occurred". Should I open a separate ticket
for that?
