 I still get the crash in "testing startup". In fact without #13868 its
 pretty obvious that you must crash as soon as an integer from the free
 pool is being collected. You need to use integers for a bit to
 create->dealloc to pool->alloc from pool->dealloc but for me that happens
 during startup already.
