It is interesting. With each new version of numpy we seem to have new
instances of
{{{
Warning: divide by zero encountered in divide
}}}
appearing in doctests. This suggest that numpy sometimes mixes stderr and
stdout or that they are very intent to tell you about these warnings. All
the instances of this warning that are fixed in
[attachment:12415_stderr_vs_51b5.patch] also appears with the upgrade to
numpy 1.7.0 - plus some more.
