I think we can add ymin, ymax to the plot documentation and then put a
reference to
[http://sagemath.org/doc/reference/sage/plot/graphics.html#sage.plot.graphics.Graphics.show
show] from the plot function. 2D plots are already in their own page and I
think it is not really needed to split them up further. Yes, the page is
long and crowded, but any plotting method will be so because of the huge
amount of customization possible.
