OK, ecm test suite passed on power7 as well as the sage/libs/libecm.pyx
doctests. Something I have just noticed looking at the build log:

checking for cblas_dgemm in -lgslcblas... yes
checking for gsl_blas_dgemm in -lgsl... yes
}}}
Is ecm depending on gsl and specifically for generic cblas functions that
could be provided by atlas or openblas?
