This spkg would mean we can actually switch to ATLAS on OS X and most of
the spkg in question will have to be touched. So in fact we don't ask for
anything to be set on OS X, it finds the vectorize framework all by
itself.
I don't really get your answer.
To make my point more clear, can't we ask the user to install "something"
that would replace what the atlas spkg provides on ia64, just as on Cygwin
if you prefer, rather than on OS X where it is more tricky.
