New description:
Homsets arise whenever a coercion map or a conversion map is involved.
Hence, homsets are ubiquitous in Sage and should thus be as a fast as
possible.
Therefore I suggest change sage.categories.homset into a cython module. A
clean solution seems out of reach at the moment (see comments), and so I
just provide a couple of speed-ups here.
