New description:

 Cython's cythonize is now robust enough to replace our custom dependency
 logic, with a few extra features such as * syntax for cython extensions
 and cycache (still needs work).

 Apply to the Sage library:
 * [attachment:trac13031-cythonize-simple.patch]
 * [attachment:trac13031-cythonize-version.patch]

--

Comment:

 Apply only trac13031-cythonize-simple.patch and trac13031-cythonize-
 version.patch

 We can delete mutability in a separate CL, now that we have Cython version
 tracking.
