You don't need to resplit everything as before. The problem is that a
large part of this patch is simply renaming stuff. This should be done
automatically (e.g. with a `sed` command).
That's the minimal thing that I require: a script which does the automatic
parts of the patch, so I can review that script instead of its output
(which is much more).
