I removed the test which actually ran the latex on a file. This would
have caught a bug that was corrected in #14712 (the header was generated
in an unexpected order), but only on machines where the function
{{{_run_latex_}}} can be executed on pdflatex. No other generated latex
seems to be tested this way, but most likely because such tests are
impossible to pass on all machines.
