Please '''do not make whitespace changes''' to code you otherwise don't
touch. It can only lead to merge conflicts and doesn't really benefit
anyone. When you change code or add new code, it would be good not to have
trailing whitespace. But that's no excuse for changing whitespace all over
the place.
