When we would do as I have suggested (strong reference from Q to phi, weak
reference from CDF to phi) then we have of course the problem what happens
if Q is immortal and we want to get rid of CDF, because then we have a
strong reference from phi to the codomain CDF, keeping CDF alive.
So, in both approaches we are discussing here, sooner or later have to
decide: Do we want that the domain of a coercion/conversion can be removed
even if the codomain survives? Or do we want that the codomain of a
coercion/conversion can be removed even if the domain survives?
Isn't there any way to achieve both at the same time?
