Comment:

 The doc patch is certainly fine. As far as the spkg goes, first, is it
 worth it to rebase the patch files so we don't get the "offset -128 lines"
 messages? Second, it seems to work, and I understand in principle what the
 changes are, but I'm not an expert in `acinclude.m4` files. I think I'll
 give it a positive review anyway: this ticket is very important (I think a
 blocker) since anyone with OS X and the most recent Xcode won't be able to
 build Sage without it.
