Meanwhile I have put a "proper" mercurial patch to #13394, so that
1. there might be a chance to get this into Sage before version 6.0
2. you can easily get the patch from #13394 and can test if everything
works. I did test, and all tests pass for me.
Question: Shall I create a git branch for this ticket and push it? Or do
you want to keep it in the mercurial world (which means it might be
mergeable before 6.0)?
