Doing some more experimenting I have found minor modifications of how to
trigger the bug and the second example has very bad behavior:

2*s[1]
sage: s[123]*s[2,1]
ValueError Traceback (most recent call

ValueError: [0, 0, ..., 0, 122, 2, 1] is not an element of Partitions
