Perhaps SSE2 is not part of the official standard, but at least all x86_64
CPUs support it, so it would say it is "de facto" standard. Also GCC will
generate SSE+SSE2 code by default on x86_64, which is a very strong
precedent.
Is this not just a matter of '''not''' replacing the symlink?
