 For matplotlib >= 1.3.x (#14993, merged into Sage 6.2.beta5), we
 apparently have to adapt the spkg again, as MPL no longer ships with
 pyparsing (but Sage now ships it as a ''separate'' package), so importing
 `matplotlib.pyparsing` fails.  (The installation of the optional dot2tex
 package still succeeds -- unless one also tries to run its test suite, but
 using dot2tex now more or less '''silently''' fails.  Quite odd.)
