Just doing

sage: sage.misc.misc.inject_variable('a', 0)
}}}
(before an import) is enough to cause the error. If I had to make a WAG,
I'd say it's the IPython upgrade. I've added this as a doctest, so if
you're happy this (and I'm okay with fixing the symptoms), positive
review.
