Note about the patches: `maxima_bug_2526.patch`, which fixes
http://sourceforge.net/p/maxima/bugs/2526/, is still necessary even
though the bug is marked "closed" in the Maxima bug tracking system; the
commit somehow didn't make it into the Maxima repository.
