New description:
The `RealNumber()` and `ComplexNumber()` global functions are meant for
the Sage preparser and shouldn't be used directly. For example, the
following doesn't work (and it shouldn't):

TypeError: unable to coerce to a ComplexNumber: <type 'str'>
