 Everything seems all right with 10.9. I would be interested in the back
 trace you have. I am upgrading to 10.10 sometimes tomorrow I may be able
 to experience it first hand. Not sure I want to upgrade, my wife did and
 it looks a bit like the "fisher-price" interface that iOS has become.
 Beurk.
