Hmm, you can't ''delete'' them, it's true, but save+quit+open actually
gets rid of such cells if they are empty, due to the way sagenb handles
that internally, no worries.
Looks like you got the other stuff on my list (or explained it). I would
personally not worry about waiting for the static image for java fix if
the js version is the default...
