Okay. So I am happy with this, modulo the question about whether this
really belongs in `simplify_full` - again, just because it could make
something VERY long and not at all "simple". I assume Ralf and I differ
on this. Michael, would you like to be the tiebreak? I don't want to
hold up this wrapping of Maxima's functionality.
