OK, you've done a ton of work on this. There are a few minor details left,
but I will take care of them myself, and post a referee patch. This ticket
should be ready today.
PS -- A maximum clique is just a clique of maximal size, so those
functions are also applicable to Cliquer, but I'll update those myself. :)
