 Yes, no, and yes. However for fin-dim, the second one should be a yes.

 The reason why I don't want the second in general is perhaps someone wants
 a free module version of the Lie algebra because there are extra features
 there, such as taking tensor products (which I guess is currently the only
 really distinct feature).
