Comment:

 Since certain methods are much more efficiently computed in certain
 realizations,
 the generic implementation just consists of converting to the favorable
 realization, doing the computation there using a custom implementation,
 and then converting back. But since converting is often expensive,
 sometimes
 a direct algorithm is given for more than one realization. This is the
 case for :meth:has_descent.
