Philippe Theveny, who had a 2-year contract with us, just left, thus he
won't be able to continue working on this. In case somebody wants to
pursue his work,
he has left the attached files. You need mpc-0.6 available at
http://www.loria.fr/~thevenyp/mpc-0.6.spkg. According to Philippe, the
performance was improved,
but still not as good as the current CC (but more reliable due to correct
rounding).
