Just a quick issue along the way:

sage: a,b,c = S([1,2,3]),S([1,3,2]),S([2,1,3])
sage: findstat( [([a],[1]),([b],[1])] )
a new statistic on Cc0001: Permutations

Shouldn't that return an error as too little values are given?
