I cannot really give much more explanation, these are patches from
upstream to fix some issues which came up while testing this ticket. See
the two `gp2c` threads on [http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/archives/pari-
dev-1507/threads.html]
I can instead try to use the upstream git repo without patches. Let me
know if you prefer this.
