 components" terminology?

 As I write in the description: I am not sure about the name.

 "On the number of distributive lattices" by Marcel Erné, Jobst Heitzig and
 Jürgen Reinhold
 (http://www.kurims.kyoto-u.ac.jp/EMIS/journals/EJC/Volume_9/PDF/v9i1r24.pdf)
 uses "vertical decomposition". I choose the name to be parallel to
 `connected_components()`.
