 As the first number in
 {{{
 stop         9223372036854775807    # 64-bit
 stop         2147483648             # 32-bit
 }}}
 `2^63-1`, I believe that the second should be `2^31-1 = 2147483647`.
 Unfortunately, I don't have a 32-bit system to test.
