Hi!
Thanks for the suggestions and comments, I will address them when I have
time (not today). As I said, the current code closely follows the original
(including exceptions) and was mainly meant for testing, so I'm willing to
change it to a more acceptable form.

you prefer you can also move it to an independent file (like it's done for
'graphs/graph_decompositions/graph_products.pyx'). The other advantage of
that is that it give you more room to write doc, if you need it.
I agree that this will probably be the best solution - then the file can
also contain the search functions. Are there any additional steps needed
when adding a new file?
