Jean, it is okay to comment out the lines

#RequirePackage("arep");
#RequirePackage("meataxe");
#RequirePackage("nq");
#RequirePackage("sisyphos");
#RequirePackage("ve");
}}}
in {{{init.g}}} and delete those folders in {{{gap3/pkg}}, without getting
into any trouble for {{{chevie}}}?
Otherwise, I could also try to build those packages that needs
compilation, but already {{{meataxe}}} failed on a first try.
