If you can just update that documentation as outlined in comment:20, yes
it would be fine. Since ncohen was pretty dismissive of the fact that I
only have time for brief comments like this nowadays (without even asking
me offline why), I was not particularly motivated to do so myself. Given
that depending on context both types of examples are likely and that
people using this may be less likely to go through all the arcana needed
to figure out how to get the result they want, I think it's pretty
necessary to update doc for that reason.
