Yes, that was the plan, and I volunteer to be the maintainer of the spkg-
builder.
The fricasaldor stuff is just a question of time.

I also experienced that, but this must be a problem with "sage -sh". One
doesn't get such wierd messages when you simply do as I described above.
In particular not 'sage -sh' but just

export PATH=$SAGE_ROOT/local/bin:$PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$SAGE_ROOT/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
}}}
