While I started to comment my patch, I found that not all issues are
resolved. For example, I can define an infinite polynomial ring whose base
ring is another infinite polynomial ring -- but the computations with
elements of such ring don't quite work yet.
Sorry.
Later, I'll provide another patch that fixes it.
