I'm finished with the review! The changes brought by this patch appears
reasonable and do indeed speed up some treatments without slowing down
other ones.
I modified some formatting in the documentation, and I treated the case
where the morphism is applied on the empty word with infinite order.
Everything seems fine to me. I wait until you check my change to set this
patch to positive review.
