Dear Martin,
I realize that the example was a homogeneous
polynomial in 3 variables. So, this can be interpreted
as an affine surface but also as a homogeneous curve.
Probably the second was meant. In this case it makes
sense to compute the genus. We shall take care
about this in the next release.
