Hmmm. I tried to get the indent to work, but adding an hspace in the
obvious places didn't work. I can investigate this more, but one problem
is that the example environment works in a completely different way than
the other verbatim-like environments. I'll look into this and see if I can
figure it out. Changing the parindent might work.
